Sticks and stones

Gosh it’s been a while since we’ve had insults hurled at us by Conservative MPs. How refreshing, then, to read Stewart Jackson MP’s blog post on Conservative Home.

We’ll add ‘misinformation’ and ‘exaggeration’ to the list! The ensuing comments also make interesting reading.

We also heard the evidence given by Planning Minister Greg Clark to the CLG select committee, and eagerly wait to see whether his intentions are translated into something meaningful in the final NPPF.

Mr Jackson has some misconceptions about the nature of our objections to the draft NPPF – in case anyone is in doubt, here is how we responded (pdf / 112KB) to the consultation, which sets out our position in detail.
