Thursday 1 September: NPPF is front page news

Well, what a week it has been.

Big news today is that The Daily Telegraph have launched a campaign against the current National Planning Policy Framework – Coalition ‘rush to sweep aside planning laws will put countryside in peril’ – , with a leader article – ‘A shameful way to treat rural Britain’ – urging it’s readers to sign our petition.

The Times also ran a front page story – Planning revolt fuels fears over economy (£) – following an interview with David Frost, the departing chief of the British Chambers of Commerce.

We’re working to backfill the blog with the other planning policy stories of the week.
